The story

A closer look at Amberdale

Originally built as a project for British Railway Modelling, Amberdale depicts a typical but fictitious Derbyshire village station on a single-track secondary route.

Set in the 1960s, it supports a varied sequence of passenger and freight workings with both steam and diesel traction. Its detailed station, goods facilities and characterful cameos reward a closer look between trains.
